Went to a “story telling” evening last night called Second Tuesday at a place called The Heavy Anchor.  Neat little venue … stories were about “First Dates.”  Most were awkward, but funny!   Here’s a few pictures of the place … they had a decent selection of beers with a couple of local brews on tap.  A limited food menu but that’s not really the focus of this cool little hangout.  If in the area, and need a cold one — good place to go!

You can see in this picture the one I drank for my 2nd beer in my series: the Albino Pygmy Puma.  

This was a very solid American Pale Ale — definitely West Coast flavor … nice hops.  I drank a couple of them!  Of course they are always better with friends! Haha.     

I guess I’m going to have to visit the brewery to find out what the name means!  That’s a post for another day!  Enjoy … Beer Mentor
