This is the first of several “Retro Posts” … you probably are asking, what??  I’ve got several brewery, bar, beer visits I need to update in my blog but I’m like 2 years behind!  So I’m going to put some “Retro Posts” in here to capture these places/visits.

First up — Schlafly Bottleworks!  It’s ironic I live in St Louis now since I visited here in 2011 thinking I wouldn’t be back.  Haha.  We went to Schlafly and Anheuser Busch … I had no idea there was a huge craft beer explosion going on here!  But I digress and will get to those later.  Now … on to Schlafly!

Schlafly has a couple of locations here in St Louis .. .the Bottleworks and the Tap Room.  I haven’t visited the Tap Room yet … soon … soon.  I have taken the tour at the Bottleworks.  Awesome.  I highly recommend a trip over there.  I’m inserting a series of pictures … the tour is informal, informative, and really the kind of tour you want to take.  It’s amazing to see how this brewery has exploded in size.  That’s what happens when you make really good beer!  Enjoy the photo series!
